The ruins of a Gothic castle from the 13th century on a limestone cliff. Destroyed by Napoleonic troops in 1810. View of the Pezinské and Devínske Carpathians, the Záhorská nížina lowland and in clear weather the Alps.

Access

From Bratislava: From the local public transport bus stop Nový most (or from Patrónka) by bus 37 to Záhorská Bystrica. By to Mariánka and then by through Borinka to the castle. (1:30 hrs)
From Borinka: To Borinka by bus from Bratislavy through Stupava, 0:40 hrs.
